Macron referred to as the assault on vacationers on Paris’s Quai de Grenelle a terrorist assault

French President Emmanuel Macron referred to as the incident a “terrorist act.”

A suspect armed with a knife attacked a married couple on Saturday night. This occurred on the Quai Grenelle, a number of steps from the Eiffel Tower.
