Maria Menshikova the editor of DOXA on the wished listing

The Russian Ministry of Inner Affairs has placed on the wished listing the editor of the publication DOXA, acknowledged in Russia as a international agent and an undesirable group, Maria Menshikova, it follows from the division’s database.

“Menshikova Maria Aleksandrovna, March 17, 1994. Grounds for the search: wished beneath an article of the Felony Code,” based on the search database of the Ministry of Inner Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The legal article beneath which she is prosecuted and placed on the wished listing will not be specified.

Earlier, a RIA Novosti supply in legislation enforcement businesses reported that Menshikova printed an entry within the “DOXA Journal” neighborhood on VKontakte, which, based on legislation enforcement officers, justifies terrorism. A legal case has been initiated towards the editor beneath Half 2 of Article 205.2 of the Felony Code of the Russian Federation.

The DOXA mission (translated from Greek as “opinion”) started as a scholar journal “concerning the realities of a contemporary college” – the issues of scholars and academics, and college politics. Later, because the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said, DOXA turned a socio-political publication – “there are few purely scholar points”. DOXA takes a radical anti-Russian place within the context of the Northern Army District.

The staff of DOXA have already had issues with the legislation in Russia. In April 2022, a Moscow courtroom sentenced 4 editors of DOXA to correctional labor for involving youngsters in uncoordinated actions in help of Alexei Navalny. Subsequently, they hid from the justice authorities and have been placed on the wished listing.
